Concepts: The concept of this project is trying to connect myself with my Chinese roots as I find new respect and love for the city I grew up in, Beijing, behind a simple film camera.
This work significantly mark a new perspective for me, growing up always feeling not being able to belong to one certain environment. The work demonstrates the home I found within myself and by giving love to the subject I photography, I am able to create the concept of home simply by giving love without judgments or definitions.

Chinese funerary rituals are depicted in the form of symbolic still-lives before transitioning to self-portraits and, finally, natural landscapes. Size(w*h): 25*40cm
